flowed by Life,
especially words in red
He's writting these upon my heart
Spirit teaching me....
Like ocean waters wave,
meadows growing tall
stir up under windy's roll
blows His breath on me.....
Light in two by day the bright
and lesser one in night
above it hangs so I may see
His shining love for me...
Dusty souls of skin and bones
on my way they greetjourney close in fellowship sweet
He speaks through them to me...
Melodies my ears delight
praise upon the air
soar my heart to greater heights
in song I meet Him there.....
'Though earthly ways are heard by sound
many more there are
of ways He speaks to me be found
as many as the stars.
--Tammy
he speaks in many ways...and you captured a few in your words...smiles.
ReplyDeleteWow. I wish I could write poetry like that. Beautiful!
ReplyDelete"blow His breath on me..."
That line in particular has special meaning to me. Thanks for sharing this.
Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHow I too love those words in red..
ReplyDeletegreat post!
What an intimate poem of your time with God and what He's doing in your life.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking someone might want to put these words to music ... like Chris Tomlin, or Matt Maher.
ReplyDeleteI love it when He summons from our soul words that can only be crafted by His love.
Bless you!
such a tender tribute to the maker of the stars... i love the last stanza in particular. your broken heart is so beautiful and yielding to his spirit... it makes me want to be likewise. thank you, sister.
ReplyDelete@Sassy Granny, oh for the love of all sweetness! And what a blessing to read your "dictionary" of words breathed by Him at your "place".
ReplyDelete@Jeri, thanks for stopping in and taking the time to read.
@HisFirefly! I'm definitely going to your "place". I've always loved, loved your blog name. It's just too good to pass by and rewarding every time I stop in.
@thewritelife2, much thanks.
@Lisa, I'm coming back over. I stopped by earlier, but need a longer look.
@Brian, boy, I have hard enough time with 1 blog much less more than 1! Thanks for coming in.
Hi Tammy,
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful post on hearing God speak.. like stars in the sky. It's wonderful to get a piece of your thoughts on hearing God in the jam -- in poetry! Thanks for jamming!
